What's a Thody?

First off, it's pronounced Tho-dee, not Toady, or Toddy (you know...the "th" makes a "th" sound).

I'm Adam Thody, your typical Toronto web designer. Originally from Victoria, B.C., I now live in downtown Toronto and work for myself full-time as a web designer / developer / entrepreneur.

I like whitespace.

I design with web standards because it makes me feel good. I like knowing that my site will look great across platforms, and browsers, and that my content is accessible to all.

Thody Consulting Inc.

I founded Thody Consulting Inc. in October of 2003 as the umbrella company for my miscellaneous web ventures.

To date, the company has worked with over 50 client organizations, in the areas of web design, development, application development, search engine optimization, and e-commerce. Fifty percent of the time, we do outsourced work from other design agencies, 30 percent of our time goes to our own clients. The rest is spent on internal projects, such as our Sabiduria Content Management system, and our standards compliant web site deployment packages.

We're also starting to get into web-based training through a partner company in Minnesota, USA.

Parallax Group Canada

Parallax Group Canada is the sister company to Parallax Group of Minnesota, USA. PGC was founded in 2004 by myself, and a partner to explore the Canadian web-based training market. We expect to start campaigning in Toronto by 2006.
